Tunbridge Wells Business Awards: Meet our Judges

Entries are now open for the Tunbridge Wells Business Awards 2025, which will take place at TN card partner Trinity on Wednesday 19th November. 

Ahead of our exciting awards season, we are pleased to announce our judging panel for this year.  Each of our judges is deeply connected to and invested in the success of our local business community, bringing their expertise and passion to recognising and celebrating achievement across the borough.




Paul Reader, Berry & Lamberts Solicitors

Paul is Managing Partner and Head of Company & Commercial at Berry & Lamberts Solicitors, where he has supported businesses in Tunbridge Wells and the wider area for nearly three decades. He advises on a wide range of company and commercial law matters, from acquisitions and agreements to helping resolve disputes, offering trusted guidance to business owners at every stage of their journey.





Ben Sizer, Metro Bank UK

Ben is Local Director for Metro Bank in Tunbridge Wells, where he and his team are dedicated to supporting local businesses and individuals. Having worked his way up through the bank since 2016, Ben is passionate about community engagement and is a familiar supporter of enterprises across the town. His role is rooted in helping Tunbridge Wells businesses thrive, and he is delighted to be celebrating their success through this year’s Awards.





Dawn Blee, Sevenoaks Chamber of Commerce

Dawn is CEO of Sevenoaks District Chamber of Commerce, which in 2023 expanded to proudly include Tunbridge Wells and Tonbridge. She works closely with business owners in the town to create opportunities for networking, collaboration and growth. With a career spanning international hospitality, small business management and local government, Dawn has a unique perspective on the challenges and opportunities for Tunbridge Wells businesses.




Nick Bryant, Brilliant Businesses of Tunbridge Wells

Nick is the founder of Brilliant Businesses, a platform that shares the stories of the people behind our local enterprises. Through more than 500 filmed podcasts and regional business shows, Nick shines a light on the entrepreneurial spirit of our town. His work helps introduce business owners to wider audiences and strengthens their connection with the local community.





Justine Rutland,Tunbridge Wells Borough Council

Justine is Deputy Leader of TWBC and Cabinet Member for Economic Development, working tirelessly to champion and support businesses across the borough. From nurturing our town centres to promoting local culture and tourism, she is dedicated to ensuring Tunbridge Wells is a vibrant place for businesses to grow and succeed. As councillor for Culverden ward and a long-time resident, Justine brings both passion and deep local insight to her role on the judging panel.



A heartfelt thank you to our judges for giving their time and expertise to celebrate the achievements of our local business community.

The panel will be chaired by Jess Gibson, Founder of the TN card, who will oversee and lead the judging discussions.
