1. How does the TN card work?
The TN card is a loyalty reward scheme for Tunbridge Wells, Tonbridge and Sevenoaks communities, encouraging us all to support our independents. You can purchase digital membership for £2.99 a month or £24.99 a year. If you are an annual member, you also have the option of purchasing a printed membership too for £5. Membership entitles you to a broad range of rewards at local shops, restaurants, bars, hotels and days out. 10% from all membership sales is donated to West Kent Mind at the end of each month.
2. Who are West Kent Mind?
West Kent Mind support mental health in West Kent. They do this by involving people in activities and groups, through psychological therapy and one to one support. They help people to re-join the wider community and encourage the active participation and empathy of the wider community. West Kent Mind see people with mental health problems as people first. We are proud to work closely with the team at West Kent Mind to provide discounted rates for their training courses and fundraising registrations, as well as raising funds for them through member events, our annual birthday fundraiser and in donating 10% of sales to the charity each month.
3.Where do I find the TN card app?
The TN card is available for both iOS here and Android here.
4. How do I login to the app?
If you have have a TN membership, you are automatically set up on the app using the email address that you purchased membership with. To login for the first time, enter your email address and click on 'forgotten / reset' password to get going. The app and the website member area share the same password so you can switch easily between the two.
If you are not a member, set up a new user account to access the app. You can join as a member once you're logged in.
5. How long does membership last?
Memberships are now processed as a subscription - either as a monthly subscription (for monthly members) or an annual subscription (for annual members).
6. How do I cancel my subscription?
If you purchased via the app, please cancel your subscription via your Google Play or App Store account on your mobile device. If you joined via the website, please cancel your subscription via the website membership page here or contact us here to request. Cancelling your subscription does not cancel your membership immediately but on the day after your subscription period ends.
7. I have joined, when do I receive my membership card?
Memberships are now digital so you will see your membership card on the app as soon as you have signed up. You will also be able to login to your exclusive member area in the website to see your membership details. If you have purchased a printed card too, this will be posted out within 5 working days.
8. I don't want to buy a card online, can I buy one in person?
If you would prefer to purchase an annual membership with cash, you can order one at Grace and Gorgeous George in Tonbridge, Grace in Sevenoaks and Biggie Best, The Nail Workshop, Renaissance and Whirligig in Tunbridge Wells. You'll need to fill out an order form and will receive an email confirming your login details within a week. Please check your junk folder if you haven't seen it - or email us here.
9. How do I change my membership details?
You can update your membership details, including personal details and membership plan via the member login area of our website here. You can also update your personal details on the app.
10. I have lost my card, what should I do?
If you have a printed card and need a replacement, there is a £2.50 admin charge to help with printing and postage costs. However you can use your digital card if you would prefer to avoid this cost. Please contact us to arrange a reprint.
11. How do you process payments?
This website uses complete payments platform Stripe to process card payments. Payments via the iOS app are routed via the App Store. The Android app uses Google Payments. All are fuly secure and PCI compliant.
12. Can I cancel my membership?
You can cancel your subscription at any time (see question 6). However your membership will continue to run until the end of your subscription period (monthly or annually). Memberships are non refundable.
13. Can I share my membership with another person?
Membership is for individual use and belongs to the person who has purchased membership. Please do not share your login details. Any violations will result in the termination of membership with no payment refunded. Our business partners have the right to request proof of ID, should they suspect that memberships are being shared or abused.
14. I have a problem. Who do I contact?
If you experience any problems, either with the TN card or our participating business partners, we are very sorry. Please contact us as soon as you can and we'll get back to you as a priority.
15. I no longer wish to receive newsletters. What do I do?
To unsubscribe from our monthly newsletters, please click on the 'unsubscribe' option on one of the newsletter emails.
