West Kent Mind Update

West Kent Mind’s Silent Auction is back for a second year – and we have some amazing prizes up for grabs! Each and every prize in the auction has been donated by generous people and businesses in the local community, which means that the funds raised will directly support our services – helping people experiencing mental ill health to get well, stay well and thrive.

The auction runs from Friday 7 - Sunday 16 October. You can preview the lots that will open for bids here - . There really is something for everyone including private venue hire of the gorgeous Reuthes Lost Gardens of Sevenoaks, a Champneys Eastwell Manor overnight stay with treatments, a bespoke paddleboarding session for six, driving lessons, pampering treatments, holiday vouchers, dining experiences, show tickets, interior design consultation and much more!

The benefit of a silent auction is that it can run across a whole week, allowing people to dip in and out and receive notifications they have been outbid on a lot. This makes for a very exciting last day of bidding as fantastic prizes can change hands several times before being claimed by the eventual highest bidder! There are three simple ways to support:

- Donate a fabulous prize! Prizes can be donated right up until the auction goes live on Friday 7 th October, please contact us here.

- Visit the special auction site www.westkentmind.org.uk/auction when the auction goes live and bid!

- Make a donation – you can make a donation of any amount to West Kent Mind on the auction site, and anything you can give really will make a difference.

Fundraising Manager Kate Barnes says, “It is only through the support and generosity of people in our community that we are able to continue to provide quality mental health services across West Kent. So, we invite you all to take part in our silent auction, not only will you have the opportunity to get a fabulous prize or experience for yourself, but any money raised will directly help those who need support in West Kent. Put Friday 7th October in your diary now and follow us on social media @westkentmind for updates of new items added and a countdown to going live!”

As always, we would like to say a big thank you to the TN card community for your continued support. If you can get involved and support this event in any way, we would love to hear from you!
