We are excited to team up with TN partner Kent Local Wine School to invite members to a Blind Wine Tasting Workshop at Hotel du Vin.
Kent Local Wine School focus on great quality wine education through tasting. So join us with owner and lead tutor, Victoria Aldwinckle at beautiful Hotel du Vin for a special two hours of blind wine tasting mayhem! With our “Where in the World?” member workshop we'll blind taste six wines, all from one country but with extremely different styles & unusual grapes. Can you work out where in the world are they from?
Blind wine tasting is the best way to evaluate a wine based on its quality alone. You’re not influenced by the label, the fancy chateau name or the grape variety and price tag – you simply let your taste buds do the hard work! We’ll dive into the world of wine, looking at the incredible stories behind the label. But will you be able to follow the clues and work out which one country the wines are from before the evening ends?
Expect a lot of great wine discussion and wonderful company all whilst learning about the incredible world of wine! We'll also have some fabulous local cheese from TN partners Kingcott Dairy to enjoy and everyone will go home with a goodie bag including a TN card tote as a heartfelt thank you for supporting local.
